The dome camera is equipped with a 2.8 mm wide angle lens and a 1/3″ 960H image sensor that delivers 700 TV lines of high-resolution video for live viewing and recording. When used with a 960H DVR, the camera’s 960H image sensor improves the DVR’s recording resolution by approximately 33% (compared to standard D1 resolution) to produce sharper, more detailed recorded video.
The camera features an integrated IR array to see up to 65′ in the dark and uses Smart IR technology to reduce over exposure of the IR LEDs at the center of the image and prevent washing out the subject at closer ranges. True day/night (ICR) captures sharp, detailed images day and night, Digital Wide Dynamic Range (D-WDR) produces clearer images in extreme lighting conditions, while automatic gain control boosts the digital signal and improves scene illumination.
The On-Screen Display (OSD) menu makes it easy to access and adjust camera settings. The camera also features a built-in microphone to capture audio.
The outdoor camera has an IP66 weather-rated enclosure that offers protection from various elements, including dust, as well as inclement weather conditions such as rain and snow. The IK10 impact resistant camera offers protection against impact and vandals.
960H Image Sensor – Improve recording resolution. The camera's 960H image sensor can increase a compatible 960H DVR's recording resolution by approximately 33% (compared to standard D1), to produce sharper, more detailed recorded video.
Wide Angle Lens – Cover more area. The camera lens's wide field of view enables it to cover a larger area than a standard lens and provides greater depth of field, along with better low light performance.
Smart IR – Capture clear, sharp images in low light. The camera's Smart IR (smart infrared) feature automatically adjusts the infrared light required in a scene as the subject moves closer to or further away from the camera, resulting in optimal brightness and a sharp, clear image that's neither washed out or too dark.
True Day/Night (ICR) – Capture clear images day and night. Our day/night cameras with true day/night (ICR) deliver a sharp image in low light and nighttime conditions. An IR cut filter blocks out infrared light to produce true-to-life color images during the daytime. In low light conditions and at night, the filter is removed, letting infrared light pass through to provide crisp, well-defined black and white images.
Automatic Gain Control (AGC) – Boost image signal. Automatic gain control boosts the video signal coming from the imager to amplify and improve scene illumination.
TRUE 3-Axis Gimbal – Gain flexible mounting capabilities. A true 3-axis gimbal provides the ability to mount the dome virtually anywhere (wall or ceiling) and position the camera at any angle to achieve the desired field of view. Regardless of the mounting angle, the camera is intelligently designed to maintain the same distance from the dome cover so the image is never distorted.
On Screen Display (OSD) – Optimize your camera's capabilities. The built-in OSD provides the ability to fine-tune every setting of your camera to achieve the best possible image quality. Without the OSD, the camera is dependent on the factory settings. The OSD allows you to control features and settings including wide dynamic range, day/night settings, and many more.
IK10 Impact Resistance - Withstand physical impact. The IK rating system is the international numeric classification for the degrees of protection provided by enclosures for electrical equipment against external mechanical impacts. It provides a means of specifying the capacity of an enclosure to protect its contents from external impacts. Ratings range from IK-01 to IK-10, with IK-10 being able to withstand the largest amount of impact energy (20 joules).
